Lorena Rosas was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and emigrated to the United States at the age of two. She received an Associate of Arts degree from Mt. San Jacinto College and a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB). Her UnDacamented identity and experience has inspired her to become a strong advocate for the rights of the immigrant community. During her senior year at CSUSB, she served as president for the formerly known, CSUSB Coyote Dreamers Club, a student organization that provides both a platform and support for undocumented students pursuing higher education. Lorena was also the first to serve as an intern for the Undocumented Student Center at CSUSB, where she helped students stay on track of their educational goals.
One of her most memorable experiences was being part of the first group of DACAmented students to study abroad in Mexico, which allowed her to reconnect with her roots. Lorena’s mission is to continue active participation in the immigrant rights movement, encouraging support and communicating available resources to her community.
Lorena is part of the DACA Specialist team as well assists in the Removal Proceedings Department.
