Ms. Gomez was born in Mexico and emigrated to the United States with her family when she was three years old. She is the youngest of four siblings.
Ruth received an Associate of Science degree and multiple Associate of Arts degrees from Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, and is currently a senior at Cal State San Bernardino majoring in Entrepreneurship.
Her passion lies with immigration law due to her own immigration background. Ruth was granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) in 2012. She aspires to become an immigration attorney.
At ILOHB, Ruth specializes in the U-Visa and VAWA department where she works directly with undocumented victims of crimes. She also supervises and coordinates administrative operations including activities of staff and case management.
